La'akea is a 23 acre intentional community on the western shore of Hawaii's Big Island. Located just a short distance from the ocean, Kehena beach, warm ponds, and tide pools. The gently undulating site rests at 1300' elevation and includes a steep cinder cone, Ohia forest, orchards, gardens and ponds.

Located just off Towne Hill Rd in East Montpelier, VT we are centrally located in a beautiful farmhouse with stunning views, open fields, and a 500-acre wooded preserve across the road. We house a fully licencd multi-age child-care/preschool, art classroom, Art Tiles' Studio, and in-ground swimming pool, offering swim lessons, gardens, barn yard animals, and the residences of family and friends.

Villa Sobrante
This is an urban retrofit project on a once boarded-up, and conventionally built house from the 40s. The retrofit will involve natural materials, implementing living systems, and creating a permaculture plan to grow food and other useful plants on the 1/3 of an acre site. MA`O Organic Farms
MA'O Organic Farms is working for a sustainable Hawai'i fostering social entrepreneurship by growing organic food and young leaders. The farm is located in Wai'anae on the west side of the island of O'ahu. In ancient times, Wai'anae was a self-sufficient region that produced adequate amounts of food for its people while managing its land and water resources sustainably. Through the efforts of MA'O and other organizations and individuals this self-sufficiency and associated healthy communities will be a hallmark of Wai'anae again.

The Art Farm

The site is surrounded by hectares of dryland pine forests and features stunning views of the surrounding countryside as well as 250 granite buildings that form the heart of community.
